The village hall was buzzing on Friday morning (27th September) when the Community Coffee session hosted a Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning. As well as the usual tea and coffee, visitors enjoyed homemade cakes all lovingly baked by villagers. Thank you to the Co-op for donating the tea, coffee and milk. There were also cakes to purchase to take home and a bric-a-brac stall plus a raffle table crammed with lovely prizes. In all around £600 was raised. Thank you to every one who contributed.
The village hall is open for coffee and biscuits every Friday from 10.00-12.00, so why not pop in and join us.
