Village Hall Field
The village hall has a large grassed field to one side bounded by a hedgerow. It is approximately 70 metres square. There is a picnic bench, football goals and table tennis table (bring your own equipment).
It is used regularly in the summer by youth groups for outdoor activities and is also used by hirers for parties etc. The field is large enough to accommodate a generator powered bouncy castle (special fee applies). There is no vehicle access to the field area, nor do we allow outside catering vehicles on the site.
The field also contains a private bowls green within a fenced off area, which is the home of Houghton Bowls club.
